I was blissfully unaware of the significance of today when I scrambled from bed. I had already slept through my iPhone alarm and hit the snooze button a half dozen times. It wasn’t until I arrived at work that I saw that Twitter was lit up with people talking about 90210 day. At first I didn’t get it, and then it all made sense, September 2nd, 2010.

At Madtini Intoxicology Labs we’re always up for celebrating just about anything, so why not raise a glass to the second day of September and the hangout for the Brandon, Brenda, Dylan and the rest of the Beverly Hills: 90120 gang.

Ingredients

• 1 oz peach schnapps
• 1 oz dark rum
• 1 oz vodka
• 1 oz coconut rum
• coca cola

Preparation

Combine rum, peach schnapps, vodka and coconut rum in a highball glass full of smashed up ice. Add coke, give it a quick stir and serve.
