Taken from our “go-to” book, The Complete Home Bartender’s Guide by Salvatore Calabrese, the Jade is an lush and elegant shade of green. It’s delicious to drink and the lime gives it you an extra kick in the flavor buds.
- 1 1/3 oz white rum
- 1/2 oz green creme de menthe
- 1/2 oz blue caracao
- 2/3 oz lime cordial
- dash of gomme syrup
Moisten the rim of the glass by rubbing a lime wedge around it. Dip it into a small plate of superfine sugar to create the frosted rim. Pour the other ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and then strain into the cocktail glass.
