Two weeks of Winter Games Excitement… and Cocktails

Winter Games Drinks

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, or buried in a snowbank you know that the Olympic Winter Games have been dominating the news from the sports world. From the crazy, weird opening ceremonies to the final Gold Medal hockey game between Canada and the USA we’ve watched with excitement as the world’s greatest athletes came together to celebrate the best of winter sports.

The Intoxicologists here at Madtini research labs have been busy too, coming up with new cocktail drinks to celebrate the victories and intense competition.

The first drink we concocted for the epic battle between Canada and Russia’s hockey teams was the Bionic Beaver. We followed that up with the ‘Hurry Hard for Gold’ to celebrate the Canadian curling teams win over Norway (or team super-pants as I dubbed them).

Now here we are on the final day, Canada and the USA are meeting in an epic hockey battle for the ages. We’re doing three drinks (one for each period)… beginning with the ‘Eh? Team’, followed by the Red Hot Hoser and the Bluuu-Longo – and top it off the ‘Oh Canada1′
