The Virtual Cocktail Party
The first thing you notice about Amaretto is that it smells like almonds, but there are no almonds or nuts in it at all. Disaronno Amaretto’s distinctive taste comes from apricot kernel oil along with absolute alcohol (Ethyl alcohol containing no more than one percent water), burnt sugar and the pure essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruit.
It all adds up to pure awesomeness… we added fresh strawberries, Grenadine syrup and cream… oh, and topped it off with whipped cream and more sliced strawberries.
Cheers, and happy summer weekending from the gang at Madtini.

Last August we started Madtini as a way to celebrate our love of Mad Men and 60s cocktail culture, and our Labs intoxicologists enjoyed mixing up classic drink recipes throughout Season 3. Tonight, we’ll see the rise of the new agency Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce – and catch up with Don, Roger, Peggy, Pete, Joan and the rest of the gang.
We’re celebrating the Season 4 premiere with a martini with an Italian twist. We’re bringing Scotland and Italy together, using equal parts Hendrick’s Gin and Disaronno Amaretto to create a explosion of decadent flavours.
Cheers and enjoy tonight’s premiere.
