Vodka Pridetini
Today, Madtini Intoxicology Labs salutes Pride Toronto with a rainbow garnished Vodka Pridetini. July 4th, marks the 30th anniversary of the Toronto Pride Parade, which began in an air of discrimination of the Gay & Lesbian community, and is now celebrated as part of the diverse mix of this city. The 10 day festival has become the largest Pride celebration in North America and the 3rd largest in the world.
We’ve garnished our Pridetini with yummy Skittles representing the colours of the rainbow flag. The rainbow flag was adapted by San Francisco artist Gilbert Baker in 1978, and has been popularized as a symbol of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) pride. The six colours represent the diversity in the gay community: red (life), orange (healing), yellow (sunlight), green (nature), blue (harmony), and purple/violet (spirit).

Ingredients
- 2.5 oz Vodka
- splash of Dry Vermouth
- Skittles
- Pride
Preparation
Take a chilled martini glass, add a splash of vermouth and swirl it around the inside of the glass. Quickly pour out the excess vermouth. Pour chilled vodka into the glass and garnish with a skewer of rainbow skittles, and drink with pride.
